(This is a sponsored post and is an AD)
I’m collaborating with Pretty Little Thing just in time for Summer! From trendy pieces to neutral necessities, PLT is a go-to for me. (I would say that even if this wasn’t an AD) I picked each of these pieces out and I made a super shot video trying on some of these summer musts. I cannot wait to style them different ways and dress them up for more blog posts to come!
Outfit Details :
Let’s just talk about this utility jumpsuit! I am obsessed with this cool trend! I would size down if you are interested as it can be a bit bulky.
The ribbed plunge unitard is seriously so killer! I already know how I want to wear it! (Get one size up)
I’ve actually worn this black slinky unitard twice since I’ve gotten it! It fits perfectly and I’ve worn it to both an event and on a hike and it felt amazing.
This Oversized Zip front sweater is a must when traveling! I always get so cold on planes and want to cuddle up on car rides so this is a must!
This sweater dress may be a tad too big (size small) but if I have the length hemmed it is perfect. I love an oversized look like this with booties or thigh highs. Again such a comfy cool travel option.
The black ruffle mesh plunge bodysuit is HOT HOT HOT. I would size up on this one!
Lastly, the cream satin backless strappy crop is super sweet. Depending on your bust size, I would order two sizes up. I ordered one size up and I think I would have rather went up two sizes.
Swim Suit season is basically here so let’s go over a few of my tips that I think are super important. I truly believe to have a swimsuit body you just put a swimsuit on a body. Still, living in an age where everyone seeing everything with one post, it is easy to feel judged over something so simple. Plus it is the worst looking at these perfect looking girls! Okay, mini rant over… let’s get on to the post.
1. If you are not happy with your body, do something about it!
I get super frustrated when I feel like I’ve gained a few. And I hate that you feel like you have to be swimsuit ready 24/7 for all of the summer. Take a fat day you know! But what I am trying to say is get ready by running or taking a fitness class. Work for what you want. Also, it makes you feel good after and like you’ve accomplished something. Plus there are so many health benefits to just getting up and moving!
2. Body Positivity.
This is a big one. While you are on the road to looking how you want to. Accept your body as is. Remember the blessing it is to even have a body, especially a working one. Own what you have and be confident no matter how big or small you are! And if you want to look different, revert back to 1.
3. Flatter yourself not fatter yourself
Wear the pieces that flatter your body no matter the size! I used to wear smaller pieces just because I could fit into them, but that doesn’t mean they look the best on you! Plus when it comes to swimsuits there are SO many different silhouettes that you can mix and match and find the pieces that you love. Pick a cute cover up for those days you aren’t feeling it. And of course a matching headband for a completed look!

If I am being completely honest, I had no idea this was an art installation at first. I totally just thought it would be a functioning Prada store in the middle of nowhere. I had been wanting to shoot here for forever! SAD STORY : I asked my dad to take a short detour on our drive back to California just so I could come here to shoot and when we got closer I was looking for my camera and realized that I left it Texas! I am still lowkey devastated if I am being completely honest…
Anyway, I was able to do what I had to and took pictures using my horrible iPhone. It literally overheated the phone every time and I had to delete so many things just so I could take a few bursts. It was horrible! Okay.. rant over.
I’ve been getting more into art pieces because of my job. It is honestly interesting, and while I still struggle to fully comprehend it all, it’s a good challenge for me! This installation is by Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset.

I have seen everyone selling presets all over Instagram and I guess you can say I fell into the trap. I needed something new for Fall and I am going for a cooler, edgier vibe for my looks so it just went well. I am still trying to find the balance of what is too much of a filter and what is just right, so stay tuned for that!
On another note, I want to start doing cute collages and add stars and gold accents to my photos, so if you or anyone you know knows how to do that, email me!
I was able to drag my dad to Joshua Tree National Park and I was very excited to take pictures! I definitely want to go back and go hiking, it was truly beautiful! The only thing I didn’t like was how my pictures did not do it justice showing off the beauty!
This skirt is my absolute favorite! What’s your absolute favorite piece in your closet?

Seven magic mountains is another place that I stopped on my way from Los Angeles to Texas. A bit out of the way since it is right outside Las Vegas, but definitely worth it! Great photo ops, and I wish I was able to have gone when it was less crowded and in the afternoon, but we were on a time constraint! Still a cool place to visit if you’re in the area.
Where is your favorite place to go for photo ops?
I recently have been into a lot more edgier outfits. While I still love to keep everything fun and feminine, every once in a while I like to mix it up! Honestly boho is my current favorite! I like billowy tops and flare jeans… think Free People!
This outfit is a bit more grungy than I had hoped, but I was on a road trip, all of my outfits weren’t accessible, and I just had to go for it! Definitely something different but the color of the rocks made me feel better about al of the black! Also I just had to style my fanny pack from Quay Australia (linked below).
I used to dress super girly and honestly I still do, but every once in a while I like to mix it up. I am going for something a little more chic, recently. If you follow my instagram you will see a small change in filters for fall, but also in my looks. I am dressing things up with hats, big belt buckles, simple gold jewelry and fun booties. I really think I am a huge trend follower! Not on purpose, but I definitely just really like when an outfit is put together well!

Okay, while I’m not exactly an intern anymore, I still have a hard time considering myself a full time employee. Techinically I am a free lance PR agent. I wanted to answer this because I always get a lot of questions from my friends and family about what I do exactly. I never thought about answering this on the blog but I thought it would be a good idea for my new Coffee Talk series. Also who can resist a good blog post while hanging out at a cute coffee shop like Alfred’s Coffee? My ideal Sunday afternoon!
Public relations is very different from advertising. Advertising is when you pay to get your message to the target audience and public relations requires a lot of pitching and proper wording. I work for an agency that deals directly with artists. The agency serves as a middle man connecting an artists (painter, sculpter, etc.) to the press.
I build a lot of media lists which is just a list of media contacts. I send emails to writers, journalists, editors and segment producers about what our creative clients are working on; whether it be an exhibition, new art piece or event. I also work largely on their social media content.
Public relations really is just a liason between a client and their target audience by means of media interaction.

Did I even really go to LA if I didn’t do a quick shoot on Rodeo Drive?! Ugh I just love that part of Los Angeles. So upscale and clean and the food is amazing! Designer bags and brands at every corner. So picturesque as well! I loved the white walls and it didn’t hurt to get a few of the brands in the center don’t ya think?
Okay on to the dress. When I first opened the package I was not sure if I would like this. I decided to shoot it and give it a try. I liked the unique strap and I put it on and I honestly was not too crazy about it because I felt like I lost shape.
It was obviously a small (which was the smallest size) but I am still a petite girl so I did what I could with what I had and added an extra safety pin in the back to create a keyhole look that you can see above. It gave me more shape and made sure all of my chest area was not too exposed!
Still I tucked it in as a tank and I loved the simple gray feel of it! Also as a dress I can definitely see it as a beach cover up as well or if I’m lucky I can pair it with some killer heels and go out with it! I also love the simple accessory of the gold coin necklace! Definitely one of my favorite trends of the moment!
I am definitely keeping this dress now that I know how to style it!
