Quick Holiday Gift Guide with Sprint + Boost

I was invited to Sprint + Boosts Holiday Budgeting Event promoting some of their products and specials for the holidays! I was able to take a look at some of their newest electronics and I got to hear all about their Black Friday deals before everyone else has! Let me tell you they are good!

A few of my favorites? The Motorola z3 Play! I received a free one and I am excited to check out the camera! Also, they have the coolest speakers and headphones! Definitely a must for the tech lover in your family!

For a few of the deals, Sprint is offering a Lease One Get One (LOGO if you will) on the IPhone XR! They also have a new Spring drive device that plugs into the steering column and has features like trip history, wifi, and aggressive driving alerts! Perfect for a new driver if you ask me!

As the holidays are approaching, you really have to be conscious of your spending! The frugal blogger Aileen Luib of The Baller on a Budget spoke all about saving for the holidays and how she was able to keep her holiday spending to under  $100! I also learned that Cyber Monday deals expand into the airline’s flight as well! I did not know that, and I will definitely be implementing a few of the tips that I learned into this year’s holiday shopping.

For Christmas this year I really want a few beauty products and some new clothing pieces! View them all on my wishlist/beauty wishlist! Those are literally exactly what I am asking for! What are you asking for this year?

Let’s do a quick outfit recap, shall we? As I was driving to meet a few LA influencers I thought to myself… I like this outfit, but this hat really made it pop! It’s obvious I have been really into hats recently, but I think they can really take an outfit to the next level. This Free People bodysuit has been on REPEAT lately as you can probably tell! I have been wearing it in every other post and for good reason! It looks good with everything and is simple and easy to throw on since it’s so comfortable! When you find a piece that you love so much, it’s hard not to want to wear it all of the time! I definitely love Free People and their pieces are always one of a kind! A sneak peek into my Christmas list… some new flare jeans from Free People!

Frisky Britches x Briana Nicole

At the end of every Summer, right before I would go to school, my mom would take me to go get new clothes. I always went to private, Catholic school so I wore uniforms. The one thing I did get to pick out though was my underwear. I would always get to buy new underwear from wherever I wanted before I began school. I guess it was because she thought I outgrew them? But it was great! I thought about it the other day because now I no longer attend school, but I feel underwear is one of those items you still need to be buying to treat yourself (and out of necessity) every once in a while.

Bring in Frisky Britches. If you’re like me and do not always have time to be going to the store to treat yourself to a cute new pair, this subscription service will help! Honestly, I love subscription services because every month it is a gift from you, to you! The best part is it cost only $14! Super cheap for two pairs of some much-needed undergarments!

There are three different packages to choose from : The Kitten that has two cheekies, The Kitty with one thong and one cheeky, and The Kougar with two thongs. I went for The Kitty to try out both products. I am wearing the cheeky in the pictures and I love how it fits! I am wearing a size small and they were so comfortable I wore them all day, even after the shoot!

In all honesty, this is what I wear when I am home 90% of the time anyway, a big shirt and some cute panties! So I might as well feel good about what I am wearing whether I am home or not!

Are you one of those girls that hate the word panties? I actually am the total opposite! I love that word, I think its super feminine and fun, just like the garment itself!

For some super fun inspo and a look at older/newer styles follow @friskybritches on Instagram!

Use code ‘Briana’ for 15% off of your order!

Minimalistic

Being a minimalist doesn’t mean you own one pair of shoes, a pair of jeans, or only take pictures in front of plain white walls! I really like to mix up my style so you could see me on a Monday in a leopard skirt and big fluffy sweaters, and then Tuesday with a pair of jeans and a white tee. I love playing around with what I wear and for my days off you will always see me in denim and a simple top because it’s my go-to!

One of my roommates and I recently joked about how we try to save our money and every once in a while we splurge and buy some flashy new accessories, but still like to be considered a minimalist! So it got me thinking… what is a minimalist and can do dress as one without being one?

So first thing I thought of with this outfit was the beach because when I go to the beach I really like to keep it simple. I take a towel, sunscreen, and a hat/sunglasses. Minimalist. This outfit is simple and easy, but what makes a minimalist outfit? Does it depend on the simplicity of the outfit, or maybe even the make of the pieces itself?

Would you consider a look minimalist if it costs an insane amount of money?

A few definitions of minimalist included : reduced to its necessary elements ; it is based on a need instead of want.

So I guess the answer to the above question depends on you and the piece itself. When it comes down to it though, did you need the piece? And what is the level of need? I think my answer would be no, but it also does not depend on the cost at all.

I think it is important to be minimalist in one area, with waste. Okay total turn for the post, not gonna lie! But I thought it was important to spread the awareness! (If you’ve made it this far in the post.) Being aware of your effect on others and the environment is so important. It can be so simple to reduce your carbon footprint. From using reusable bags and recycling, to selling and rebuying clothes. Support organizations that do their part as well and buy from sustainable brands first. This will encourage other brands and ultimately people to take part in this movement! Don’t forget to stress the little things, it will go a long way!

Blogger Advice : Style Collective

When I first started my blog I did not take it seriously… but then when I really decided to do it full force about a year ago I did not know where to start. I could not just jump into it but I had a lot to learn. I started off with blog conferences which helped me dip my toe into the blogging world. One huge resource I still use today is Style Collective! I started with style collective about a year and a half ago I would say. Not only do they have resources for girls like me to learn the ins-and-outs of the blogging world, but they have a community of girls with similar passions, all willing to help each other grow, and that’s what has made me stick around.

The CEO Annie Spano not only facilitates the conversations in the FB page, but she is very hands on. She always answers questions any of the girls have, does FB live videos where she answers questions we have and also conducts a podcast with other passionate females making it in the industry. I really enjoyed being a member and the resources are exactly what bloggers need at any level of the profession.

I have had girls come up to me or message me about creating a blog and if they are serious about it I really lead them to the right resources and Style Collective covers all of the bases. As I continue to grow my blog, the resources and community also evolve so that I never outgrow Style Collective, but it keeps up with the trends and meet-ups of the blogging community.

I plan on attending the next SC conference and I hope to one day meet Annie Spano! I get on the FB page daily and I get to interact with other bloggers at many different levels which helps me grow both my blog and me personally. One of my favorite parts of Style Collective is Link Love which is where we can all share our latest blog posts and comment on each other’s newest projects. We also interact with each other on Instagram and other social media sites to positively support each other since we all have a similar goal and understand the hustle.

I remember the first time I was featured on a SC email! I was so excited to be noticed by such an established platform. I knew at that point they really cared about the members and what they get out of the service. From setting up meet-ups with other members to pitching to brands, I am proud to be a #SCsister.

I would recommend any blogger/influencer/entrepreneur to join style collective! It is so easy and so worth it! The team really goes out of their way to make sure we have all that we need to succeed! They are responsive and helpful, and it is only $10 a month to join. Also, there is not a waitlist like other platforms! They are inclusive of girls at all levels! For the amount of support, resources and community you gain, it is a huge steal!

Sign up HERE to check out the site and to become a #SCsister!

What I learned from living in LA

I really wanted to document a lot more of my summer in LA. I’m lucky enough to be able to extend my stay until the fall! I think what I learned from LA does not have much to do with Los Angeles itself, but from moving to another city and not knowing a lot of people. It really helped me grow as an individual and if you asked me a year ago if I would be here I would have probably responded saying, yeah that would be super cool! But I am proud of myself for actually doing this! So being able to learn so much and look back at this part of my life later on will be amazing. Okay onto what I learned…

  1. Not everyone is your friend : People are not all the same as what you are used to at home. There really is so many different personalities to each area. Just roll with it and stay you.
  2. Make friends ASAP : This is more of a safety thing, you can do it on your own but you should not have to. That’s kinda like my motto if I’m being honest.
  3. You have to learn your surroundings : Know where you can go for a walk, the best thai restaurant, and where Uber picks you up and drops you off
  4. I learned to be independent : I never really knew what it meant to have a real job before, so this was a totally new experience over all
  5. You learn to appreciate home : you get to miss what you don’t have and who is not around, so it makes it more special when you go back.

My Favorite Accessories of the Moment

Recently I’ve been trying to stick to more plain looks, white or gray tops and denim, but what sets the looks apart are accessories. I’ve noticed a few trends from other bloggers and I wanted to share a few of my own as well, especially for the summer months! I’ve worn these accessories on repeat through out summer and I do not plan to stop anytime soon. I love how easily they go with any outfit and how easily they are worn.
