We recently took a personality test in one of my summer classes and one of my top traits was the ability to win others over. I thought this was super interesting and never really thought about it before. I do love talking to new people, especially strangers every once in a while, and I have no problem making conversation. I am a naturally loud person and I wanted to share a few of the things I do that would help others who are either shy or in a new situation to be more open and talkative.
Compliment + Introduction : When I see someone I would be interested in talking to I think of why I want to talk to them and give them a compliment. Then after they say thank you I always introduce myself, usually conversations go on from there.
Similar Interests : When I am doing something that I enjoy, like a workout class, I usually will want to make friends that enjoy it too. I always will talk about how the teacher is doing or talk about similar classes I’ve taken.
Ask important questions : Asking the person around you a question about what you’re doing sparks conversations as well. Even if they do not know the answer, you can find out together.
Fake it till you Make it : Act like you are already sociable, take on a leader role and pull yourself out of your comfort zone. That’s the best way to do it is to put yourself out there!
Shooting this I was not exactly ready for a beach post to be honest! But then I borrowed my friend and fellow blogger @vickystyles (on instagram) hat and beach bag and I was set. It’s amazing what the right accessories can do! I always struggle to find the perfect hat, one because of the style and two because my head is small! But I loved this one and will definitely be looking into adding more hats to my closet!

California has been the perfect vacation destination! Nothing like enjoying a day by the Venice Beach, am I right?! The first thing I do when I get ready for a fun vaca? Plan out my outfit! And somewhere where there is a beach and a pool you have to have the perfect swimsuit! Recently I’ve been obsessing over the color nude! A cute suit like this is perfect for vacation to any destination because it will be perfect with any background for cute pictures.
I always like to wear something cute to cover up with and this top can be worn at the beach, at the pool, or even out for dinner. Pieces like this are ESSENTIAL for vacation since you don’t want to overpack but you also want to have cute pieces.
What’s your favorite thing to do on vacation?
I also wanted to do a special feature on these killer shoes! Nothing says summer like Espadrilles! Always my favorite for a summer night or day out!
All pieces are from PrettyLittleThing

When I found this pink one piece swim suit I totally fell in love! It was only $13 from Zaful! I knew it would be perfect to take to my trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina because when you’re in a beach town it is totally acceptable to wear swim suits wherever you go right? I mean this basically looks like a body suit anyway!
The sand was perfect and the water was cool but not too cold. Nothing like the Texas beaches we have! Definitely a great vacation spot! Summer is never complete without a beach trip and a cute suit to go with it! Half the fun of the beach is getting cute sandy pictures right before jumping in the water and messing up what little hair and makeup you have done! My beach tips? Always use sunscreen (duh) and always bring a hair tie because it helps make the perfect beach-y waves when your hair dries!
