Coachella weekend one is known for all of the parties, pop-ups, and events to attend besides the festival itself. Brands from all over, big and small come to the desert to collaborate and create their own experience for their audience! There were many brands that I saw consistently throughout the weekend and of course the ones with the most creativity get the most mentions!
YSL had such a cool desert pop-up that we just had to visit! It had a beauty station in the desert with vintage looking gas pumps, cars, a small area of black hearts and more for the best photo ops. There were so many people there and I actually saw Manny MUA when we went. Not to mention that there was a YSL store to get a touch up from the hot desert day before getting in all the photos.
I saved this outfit especially for this pop-up because it was my least desert-y look and I wanted to shoot something fun. “Fun” is how I describe my looks when I wear something kind of out there or a statement piece that is different! I bought these glasses especially for this look and I knew they would complete the outfit since it tied in the white booties!
I commend the brands that are able to do big things like this because it gets so much recognition by the people that love the actual brand, and awareness to those who have not yet tried. There is something good to say about the brands that actually get creative like this and allow for the regular consumer to participate instead of just influencers. While everyone does love to see products recommended by their favorite celeb or influencer, when they really get to feel special too and take part in the event, that’s when a brand is doing it right!
