I’m not sure if it’s just a blogger trend, but red is definitely a thing right now. I wouldn’t think that bright red is not too much of a Fall color but I am definitely a sucker for being able to wear a bright red lip! So I compromised and wore this striped red top and added some brown booties to give it more of a Fall feel. Plus I can still get away with wearing a one shoulder top with the crazy weather here in San Marcos. Also I had to buy a chai tea and take a picture with this super cute sign.
Some of my favorite fall treats are pumpkin spiced lattes (of course) and chai tees. I can never go a Fall season without eating a super good pumpkin pie or apple pie. Those are my faves and my dad always brings me a pumpkin pie from Bill Millers when he sees me. I am not usually a sweets kinda girl but a little bit here and there is a well deserved pick me up for anyone.
I showed off this top on my post SA Boutiques Part 2 recently. It is from a boutique in San Antonio called Chic’tique and is only $49.
I decided to share three of my favorite go-to Halloween costumes! Something cute but easy to throw together for some last minute party ideas. All of the pieces are linked and easy to find in your (or your best friends) closet. Check them out and leave a comment below on what you want to be for Halloween!

I have really been wanting to shoot with my new Tory Burch Belt since I bought it for my birthday with my birthday money. (So who really bought it then?) Anyway, I was so excited to be able to finally wear it with my matching purse. I really went for a minimalist look with simple gold accessories and some darker colors. I love these new shoes that I recently bought from Francesca’s. They are like a nude pink and I love the bow like detail.
I would describe this outfit as simple, easy, and everyday. I actually ran a few errands in it before I took pictures and I was comfortable and did not feel too flashy or overdressed. It is a great transition look and easy to put together with basics that are already in your closet.

It’s officially fall, how did September go by so fast? I cannot wait for cooler weather and lots of colorful leaves to be falling! In honor of the beginning of the new season I wanted to share my first really look with a sweater! Okay so it is a thin, cropped sweater but keep in mind Texas weather does not follow the rules! I love the look of a long sleeve with shorts. It totally does not go if you think about it, but it looks so cute and comfy! The high waisted shorts offset the cropped look of the sweater and I love the subtle flare of the sleeves.
Cropped sweaters are my favorite because they have a different look than the usual oversized comfy sweater while still keeping the warmth. Don’t get me wrong though, I so live for comfy sweaters! During Winter you cannot get me out of my big sweat shirts and black leggings!
I am currently looking for some cute fall booties that are different than something I already have so leave a comment if you have any ideas for any I should be looking at!
Sweater : Showpo // Jean Shorts : Forever 21
I realized while editing these photos that the only thing “fall” about these pictures are my booties. I probably should not have taken pictures by these super green palm trees but I loved how it looked. I just had to sneak this outfit into the blog before I start my fall looks because 1. it still feels like Summer in Texas and 2. I love how these pieces look together. My top and the jeans are both from Showpo and are linked below. I so love how these jeans give a high waisted effect and the top details are definitely my favorite.
Yes once again I am wearing a white top and jeans outfit but like I’ve said before I think that is just the cutest combo. To make this outfit more fall I would definitely slip on a super comfy cardigan and this would be a perfect weekend outfit for the Fall/Winter!

I am so glad no one pays attention to the “no white after labor day” rule! I love the idea of a classic white top and jean combo. That with any pop of color is just my favorite. Even more classic is a red lip.. now that is my absolute fave! I wanted to keep with the tassel earring trend since it is fading out and show off this cute pair I got for my birthday. I am a sucker for anything pink!
I unfortunately cannot remember where I bought my top from! The tag does not help and I am so sad because I was so excited to link it! It is definitely one of my favorite crops because of the ruffle and the cross in the back. That definitely sold me on the top! I linked a other cute white crops so check those out down below!
